BACK TO PHOTOS

Oh Captain! My Captain! Actually, this was a study for a larger work, a novel/movie combination (a la my HAG) in which Jacqueline would have played (and inspired) the role of Lonette, a glamorously adventurous woman, and I would have been Fortex, the Captain—with a bit of role reversal occasionally thrown into the mix. The Piano and The Telephone, done at about the same time, were more preparations for this project. In fact, I could say that all my photo and video work with Jacqueline was preparation for something larger: I always wanted her to star in a novel/movie combination. Unfortunately, it was at about this time that she—ah, the whims of muses!—began moving in a different direction. We did a couple more photo sessions (see Thursday Nights With Jacqueline and Baudelaire's Whore) but our work together was coming to an end....
